hard working, very honest, excellent customer service. I have been doing business with Harpeth Financial for a few years now, and I have never been let down or disrespected. I have many properties and, before I found Harpeth, I went to a "big name company" you think your getting a great deal, no closing costs or some other false promise. If you ever notice those companies add 3 or 4 percent to your rate and just fail to disclose it. I quickly learned closing costs were a lot less. A friend of mine referred me to Harpeth and I was amazed. I got the best rate out there prompt and friendly service. My loan office was honest, friendly and hard working. The owner impressed me by his honesty as well as his knowledge. He never down talked another lender. My closings were smooth and no surprises at the end. whoever the person is who down talked harpeth is wrong. He probably went in and tried to get a loan and told false or fabricated things and couldn't get financing due to his fabrications. If the loan could've been done, Harpeth would have closed it.

after all the loan officers or the business doesn't get paid until a loan closes. I am also interested on what a temporary loan is. I might want one. My bank doesn't know or anyone else for that matter. You are evidentley very uneducated about loans and the owner is anything but dishonest. So be a man or a woman and own up to the fact that you just don't know much about loans. Based on your review I am sure any bank has an issue with giving you anything. This company is amazing. I have closed over 6 loans with them and have 6 more friends who have done the same.

Have never had any problems with Harpeth Financial. I have bought three houses in my lfe. I have had numerous mortgages on those houses. I have had four(4) transactions with Harpeth on those houses, to be exact. Never have I had a problem and never have they failed to beat the local banks on closing costs and rates. I cannot confirm the problems these other posters had. But I can tell you that I think Harpeth Financial is a good, honest, and very professional company. Maybe you should take any issues you may have to the owner of the company instead of hiding behind a keyboard, get out and do something about the situation.

Airbornerainger, please comment.. I would love to talk with the airbornerainger. I don't remember him and I am the owner of Harpeth. I would also like to find out who has challenged my character. I am sure there is a good explanation as to why Mr. Ranger did not get what he thought he was going to get. Again, please don't challenge my character based on someone else's thoughts (especially a competitor) without knowledge. Please do call me at 6152639730. Not Recommended. I applied for and was promised a loan with Harpeth. I sat with my loan advisor for a over an hour to talk through different possibilites and thought it was going to work out great. I locked in a rate for a temporary loan and was promised a great loan when I finished school and started my job.

On closing day my temporary loan rate increased by a full percentage point!!! Several months later when I started my job and called to transfer to the loan I was promised I was told that it would take another month to get everything together. For 4 months I received the same treatment. Harpeth wouldn't transfer me from the temporary loan so I eventually had to contact another company to refiance my loan to a reasonable rate.

I felt the treament I received from them was dishonest and would not recommend this company for a lifelong investment. When I spoke to the company who closed my loan I was told that the owner of Harpeth was known in the community as a dishonest person.

wonderful company to work with. I recently closed a loan with Harpeth Financial and was treated with such respect and timeliness. They were always helpful and truthful. I was so pleased with their service and will do business again with them if need be. Great company

Stay Away. This organization quoted me one rate and then changed and didn't bother to tell me. I had to find it by digging through the closing documents. Typical bait and switch tactic. I let them know that this had happened and they ignored me at first and then treated me with disrespect. Very unprofessional in all business actions that I had with them. Please be advised to beware of this company.
