The interior invites relaxation with its warm pinewood paneling and the soft glow of red and yellow Japanese lanterns. A bright blue aquarium by the door houses a variety of colorful tropical fish. Behind the usually crowded sushi bar, the sushi chef artfully slices sashimi and builds rolls. The six-piece nigiri includes hand-cut salmon, tuna, surf clam, yellowtail, shrimp and chewy octopus. The Tennessee roll with yellowtail with green onion is a favorite.

This used to be a great neighborhood sushi place. It was sold a few years ago, and the portions have gotten smaller,. the prices have gone up and it's just not that great anymore. Go into Brentwood and visit Myiako if you want fgreat bento boxes and great sushi.

I went to Fuji for the first time the other night. I ordered sushi and it was delivered promptly and was very good. My friend ordered chicken teriyaki and it took forever for his food to come out. We were about to go up and complain when they finally brought it. The teriyaki was mediocre. I would go back just for the sushi.
Pros: Nice restaurant, good sushi, not busy on a Friday night
Cons: Service was a little slow
