What People Are Saying About Corner Pub

In Short – The Corner Pub reveals itself to be a welcoming and laid-back neighborhood bar, set in the middle of the bustling Green Hills commercial district. A middle-aged after-work crowd comes in for weekday happy hours before heading to the suburbs. By 8pm, a younger, more collegiate demographic presses against the floor-to-ceiling windows. Six TVs hang from the rafters, which makes for a de facto sports bar environment on big game weekends.
Great Place to be

Im an african american woman and i go to the cornerpub frequently. i have never encoutered any form of r acism. i have met amy, the bartender in question. she is a very friendly girl. and many men have offered to buy me drinks and she has never had a problem with a white man buying my drinks!!!! therefore....if someone wants to accuse her of r acisism maybe they should know your facts better before they judge!!!!!

Thursday Night is when The Committee meets.
by QuantTrader at Citysearch
The Committee, aslo known as TC , meets at the Corner Pub (CP) on a regular basis. As of late, D-Money (also known as The Circus Monkey) and Pimp-O-Grapher have been holding down the fort . Their support has kept the lights on, the beer flowing-cold and has allowed every CP waitress to buy a new Mercedes Benz ( resulted from the stimulus package of course!). Other selected members, BIG RC has been busy with storytelling, G-Money has been jet-setting building the roads that link the world (how was Dubai?) and J " Boss Hog" M the IV has been tied up in court with his sweaty sear su cker. JGloooof ??- last I heard he was in Wyoming inspecting some beef for the CP Monday smokeouts.
The wait staff is pleasant and very knowledgeable about the various beers CP has to offer. We requested a cold beer that contain alcohol and all of our expectations were met.
The wings are delicious. Just do not drop them on the floor. The bouncer got upset but could not do anything about it because he is too small.
Do not play the Barry Manilow CD on the junk box of you will be booed out of CP. Johnny Cash might get you some digits from Miss M. Oh, Washington Apples are great, she said.
Smoke your Cohiba outside or in the back alley and enjoy a game of Three-card Monti.
This place reminds me of a masculine S*x in the City - Nashville Style but with adrenaline and without having to have a conversation in the morning.
See You Thursday night.

just shush if you don't know what you're talking about

obviously, blk traveler needs to visit the cp more often since she doesn't know what she's talking about...i've never seen a bit of racism or rudeness there. i think we've got a classic case here of someone projecting their own flaws onto someone else. i strongly believe that anyone who automatically assumes racism w/o any indication of it is the one who has the problem. if the races were reversed, would she still be complaining? how ignorant can you be? give me a freaking break. those are some pretty big accusations and i don't think anyone can paint that color on a perfect stranger in just one run in. ... the only thing i'll agree w/ is that it is kinda nasty that the utensils are outside for things to crawl all over but if you don't like it, don't eat!
