Great job on vintage wedding set repair. I was looking forward to working with Jay after reading so many of the positive reviews here. My mother's wedding set had been put away for some 30 years because she had worn the bands very thin, and they were in danger of breaking. Also, there was a loose diamond in the wedding band. She gave me the set some time ago, after my father died, but I've just had it in safekeeping. Since she died in 2009, however, I thought I'd get them out and have them repaired, as it is a beautiful set and should be seen.

Jay checked the set, looked over what needed to be done, and quoted a very fair price for the work. I think he originally told me it would take two weeks or so and it ended up being a little longer than that, but it was not a huge deal since I wasn't on any real timeline for a wedding or engagment plan or anything like that.

Jay and Adriane are very good to work with. I have two more rings that I need to redesign and have re-set, and I plan to work with them to revive those rings as well.

Great Experience. Adriane and Jay were great to work with. I have a difficult schedule to accommodate and wanted a very specific and uncommon stone for my fiance's engagement ring. They were not only accommodating of my schedule, but went through great lengths to find the stone I wanted. Adriane used some of her connections in jewelry design business to get in contact with the owner of the only mine in the world the produces the type of stone i wanted.

The ring was set with precision in a beautiful palladium setting and came out even better than I could have imagined; my fiance loves it!

New stone in ring designed by wife..... After moving from St. Louis we were looking for a jeweler to reset my wife's wedding ring with a larger stone. We've never felt comfortable with our jeweler options until we stumbled on JYD&C. Since my wife designed her ring I was worried that we would either get pushed into a standard setting or have to listen as the jeweler explain everything that was wrong with the ring (Both of these happened at Genesis). Jay and Adriane took the time to listen to her, understand how she wanted the ring to look, explain the options and to offer us advice about which metals to use. Everything about the experience was perfect - no surprises from the cost to when he expected it to be done. After having us look closely to our stones and describing them to us in a almost teacher like manner, he took several pictures and descriptions of our ring and stone - without me asking - that assured me he was a serious gemologist and not some "sales" guy. In the end the ring was perfect - everything about the experience was perfect.

Best Custom Jeweler by far. Jay and Adriane Yontef makes getting your dream jewelery easy. They sit and talk to you. Ask many questions about who it's for and what expectations you have to make the "PERFECT GIFT".

They teach you how to aquire the best gemstone for your

dream and then bring in choices for you to pick based on your desires and price range. Since they own no inventory, except for Men's wedding bands, you get what you want not what they own. They then either show you or you bring in, pictures of what you like and then they put it all together in a wax or a model for you to actually see what they are designing for you. This so great. You talk and they interpret and wow, what you get in the finish is sheer magic and artistry. Their prices are very fair considering what they are making and it's so personal.

A teacher as well as a businessman. Jay did a great job teaching me about diamonds and the business before we even discussed what I was looking for. I very much appreciated the lesson, and it guided me to what I truly wanted to do. I ended up using an heirloom for an engagement ring, but I had a great experience with him and his wife, and I'll definitely keep them in mind in the future.

Custom engagement and wedding ring. We had a great experience working with Jay and Adriane, and I have the engagement ring and wedding ring of my dreams. We took Jay an idea of what we wanted, plus some family diamonds we wanted to use. The final result is perfect - exactly what I wanted. Looks vintage and modern at the same time. Unique and gorgeous, and didn't break the bank either.

Now, Jay's filing system is admittedly not the most modernized, and it took a little longer than anticipated to get the engagement ring. But the wedding band was ready sooner than anticipated, and the final product made any slight delay worth it anyway. (Oh, and Adriane kindly offered me a "loaner" band to wear while they borrowed my engagement ring for a few weeks in order to make the band contour to it perfectly. That was a great touch!) All in all, a great experience!

Gem of a Jeweler!. I have worked with Jay Yontef since 2003 on Rolex watch repairs and assorted jewlery repairs. He was referred to me by a trusted colleague at work, which is why I took the big leap and sent my then boyfriend to him with the family diamond to create an engagement ring. Those clients who expect a quick turn around time on a custom made ring need to go elsewhere. Jay and his wife spend time sketching designs, consulting with you and discuss options for metals, stone settings and durability. The result of the engagement ring was breathtaking, a contemporary setting with Sapphires. It was worth the wait and has endured to this day. I never take the ring off and not a stone has fallen out after five years. Today, I received a three carat Tanzanite ring Jay and Adrienne designed for me, which was incredible. Again, there is a wait for the ring to be designed, but, isn't it worth waiting for a quality masterpiece versus getting a piece of Schlock in a month? I have trusted Jay to apprise the estate diamonds for home owners insurance as well. He and his wife are like family. They know their clients personally and are always greeting you warmly. I highly recommend J. Yontef Diamonds. I am a discerning individual that would not settle for crappy workmanship and that is why I am a J. Yontef client for life. He delivers and stands by his product, which is always exceptional.

Extremely Happy Customer?. I told a friend that I was about to be in the market for an engagement ring, but had no idea what I was doing or really even where to start, and he immediately referred me to Jay.

Approximately 6 weeks later, I have a fiance that couldn't possibly be any happier with the ring she just received. Personally, I couldn't be any more satisfied with the service, education, and value that I received, directly from Jay, throughout the entire process.

I would unquestionably rate purchasing an engagement ring from Jay Yontef as the single most satisfying shopping experience that I have ever had. And considering what was at stake, my appreciation for the way I was treated is only compounded.

Now, I will never consider purchasing another piece of jewelry from anyone else besides Jay?
