Pie In The Sky Pizza was founded in Franklin, Tennessee by Kelly and Caroline Black. After months of arduously researching ingredients and
recipes from across the nation, they developed what they felt wasn't just a great local pizza but rather one of the best pizzas in the whole country. The neighbors who were lucky enough to sample their new creation enthusiastically agreed.
On February 14, 2001, Pie In The Sky Pizza opened its doors and moved to a new location just three years later. Our new restaurant features a full-service bar, HDTVs, a 60-person private party room, slice bar for the kids and seating for over 200.

The wait can be a little too crazy. The
staff, which is mostly younger people, can be pretty disorganized and lost, collecting at the front stand like a pack of animals at a watering hole. they don't really seem to understand smart seating at all and the waiters, while nice, are a little bumbling. every experience i've had there has pretty much encompassed "average". I'd really recommend they find a way to seat large parties with lots of screaming kids somewhere other than the main room because several times now i've gone and been unable to actually have a conversation with the person next to me from how noisy it is. Also, the staff can be a little a-typically lazy when it comes to providing any sort of service whatsoever and ensuring the cleanliness of the place. I've had more than one server that has definitely been totally blitzed out of their mind. It probably wouldn't bother me as much if it weren't for the fact most of the time you're waiting at least 30 minutes for a table and then another 45 for your pizza. They're also "unable to take reservations over the phone" which is honestly a little ridiculous to me because it's become such a hot spot for large parties.
That being said, the food is overpriced for the quality and the alcohol is pretty expensive and watered down too. If it weren't for the environment and the detached demeanor of the staff, it'd probably be a 2 to 3 star place. Otherwise, honestly, i kind of dread my friends suggesting we go there because it's just never a timely or good experience.
Great pizza and awesome service. Must recommend "The White Pie" with the garlic chicken added. Absolutely amazing. Must try their two for ones on draft beers, especially Sunday when they've got and NFL game you could ask for.
Delicious every visit, every location.
Long live Nashville's Best Pizza!

pizza pie in the sky. We stopped by Pie in the Sky while we were visiting Nashville last weekend. It has a big WOW factor. The atmosphere is awesome. The food was delicious. AND they have 2 for 1 beers. Yes please! We will definitely be stopping by Pie in the Sky next time we are in the Nashville area.
Good Old Fashioned Southern Hospitality. Without a doubt, Pie in the Sky is the best pizza in Nashville. They really go above and beyond to provide excellent quality in their ingredients. You can taste the difference in every bite. The people are so nice. I usually pick up my food and take it home. When I walk in the door I'm greeted by a friendly hostess. Then I'll head up to the bar to grab the food. They'll ask if I want a drink while I'm waiting for the pizza. Sometimes I'll grab a beer or a glass of wine if the pizzas aren't ready yet. Then as I'm leaving they offer to give me some parm and crushed red pepper to go. About 5 people say 'have a nice day' as you're leaving. Now that's what I call good old fashioned southern hospitality.?
Be Warned.
we have been here many times and it has been great.
But NOW service and food quality has rapidly declined.
We were there a few Friday nights ago and were subjected to a woman ( who held herself out to be the manager) spending most of her time talking with an older couple in the booth next to us. She was speaking in a very loud voice about her desires to be an actor/model in New York... She came back to that table numerous times, ignoring her work....speaking about her " work husband" who came up and chatted as well to these people. The other staff were obviously trying to get her attention to take calls, etc, but it was very obvious to us that she had her own agenda and it was VERY distracting. Our service which had always been great before, was also lacking this evening. Our server, a young lady, was very disinterested in doing her job. We have always enjoyed Pie in the Sky, but will never be back after this display of behavior.

Amore!. When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie--that's amore! Well, Pie in the Sky for me was love at first sight. Watched the game last night at the Cool Springs location. Buy one get one free Miler Lite and the carnivore pizza and buffalo wings are out of this world. The wings are jumbo size and not fatty like other places tend to serve. Definitely worth the trek in the snow.
pie in the sky party. We had our work party at pie in the sky last night and were pleased with the experience. I reserved the party room area for a couple hours and ordered a variety of large pizzas. The Carnivore, Herbivore, White Pizza, Margherita, Supreme Happy Family and a couple cheese and pepperoni. We also order a couple wing samplers. The waitress set up a long table so people could grab what they wanted. It was perfect! There was enough room to sit or stand and walk around. I'm so glad we chose to have the party here.
