Changed doctors. I took my 1 month old in for a check up with Diane (PA). It was a wonderful experience. We have since been back twice and seen Diane both times. There is not enough space on here to describe how wonderful she is. I would have kept my son here had he not seen Dr.Verra (as they call her). I took my son in for his two month check up (usually they get shots at this visit) since he was born premature I chose to wait on his shots. When I told this to the nurse she said I would have to speak with the dr about this. Being in health care myslef I thought no big deal this isnt something the nurse can ok. The first thing Dr.Veera said to me was I see that you dont want him to have shots. Not even hi how are you Im Dr.Veera nothing. I politely corrected her and said I wanted him to have them I just wanted to put them off. Although she said "I respect your wishes" (that was a joke) she proceeded to tell me that there was no reason he shouldnt have them now. She talked down to me the entire time and basically told me I was a horrible mother for not having my child vaccinateed. Even though Diane is wonderful I knew that there was a possibility that I would still have to see Dr.Veera as long as my son was a patient there. Unless you need someone to tell you how to be a parent I would recommend taking your child here.We now go to Dr.Milligan at Stone Crest who is wonderful.
