In Short
The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. The menu alternates between typical American fare (salads, potato skins, Angus burgers and grilled chicken) and modestly international cuisine like fajitas, wraps and pot stickers.

Insider Tips
What to DrinkWith 18-ounce glasses, you might only order one. Friday's is known for its comprehensive drink menu, so try something a little unusual, like the June Bug--made from Midori, coconut rum, banana liqueur and pineapple juice.
The ExtrasGift cards can be purchased in denominations ranging from $10 to $100.

I had the "wonderful" experience of dining at the TGI Friday's in Franklin, Tn last weekend. My meal that I ordered came with something a little extra. HAIR!!!. I sent back the meal and decided that I wasn't going to eat anything that came out of that kitchen. If that kind of health code violation is going on then I don't want to know what else is going on in that kitchen. However, management didn't even acknowledge the "mishap"
Pros: price is good, server was friendly
Cons: hair in food, blanant disregard to customer service by management

We used to go a lot, and had consistently good service and food-- ever since the launch of their food network recipe showdown-- their selection is not as good-- they have NOT changed their dessert menu for a long time now-- which is mainly a bummer when you go often. They male waitstaff HAD been consistent and good and now, it's "luck of the draw". We STILL have not had good service from any female waitstaff--- The "go to's" I had always counted on, have changed somewhat and enough for me to NOT like them. So it's somewhat limiting for me, personally. There IS a basically broad menu, but it gets more difficult to figure out what to have the more often you go. The food quality and management has gone down hill in the last few months. So we have stopped going. I wouldn't say I'd never go back, but we definitely have stopped going on a regular basis. The wait time on the weekend nights is discouraging. But they do have their new VIP cards that you get to use once to jump the line-- anyway-- if you are looking for average food, with a decent range for the whole family to choose from , this place could work for you-- but it might not-- so I'd say it's "luck of the draw".
Pros: basic food options
Cons: service, food inconsistency, dessert options limited
