In Short – The decor, complete with roaring fire, handsome horseshoe bar and overstuffed couches, feels more hunting-lodge than strip mall. The bright open kitchen bustles with activity. Huge portions of steak and seafood rule the menu. An appetizer of succulent lamb chops on a nest of fried onions is entree-sized. Steaks are perfectly cooked with garlic-rosemary seasoning. Seafood comes super-sized, too, like enormous fillet of horseradish-encrusted grouper on a mass of caramelized onion mashed potatoes.

Felt like a fool for questioning a bill at the bar

Was over charged and made to feel like a fool by weekly costumers. I was very embarrised and so was my husband. Probably will not return and have been eating here since the opening on special occasions. Not everyone can eat there on a weekly basis with this ecomomy. There are also many other places to spend money on food that are just as good.

Go if you have PLENTY of time and like free cheesecake!

I've had very poor service in each of my 3 visits in the last 18 mos Each time, the server or manager offered us a free cheesecake dessert to make up for it. On the third time, I realized that poor service (VERY slow, incorrect orders, etc) is the norm here, and everyone is getting free desserts! So, if you have plenty of time and like cheesecake, go for it! The food has been good, and the atmosphere is nice, which is why I left 3 stars.

Great place for any occasion

This place has the best service and steaks I ever experienced. We've been to this place three times. The last time we went on mother's day for a dinner. The place was full, but there was no wait. The server came to us right away and asked if we want order drinks. We ordered couple drinks and salad to start. In a few minutes we placed our order for steaks. Unfortunately our order took a while to get to our table. During our wait, two managers came to us with apology for wait. Our server definitely was worried. Good for everybody we were in a good mood and not in a hurry. What was a surprise at the end when we received a $0 bill?! The restaurant took care of us (the bill was $145). We told our waiter that anyway we would be back, because they have great service and food.
