The Only reason I go to Nashville!!!. Everytime Im in town it's the only bar I go to... I love when they play Wagon Wheel! I have become addicted to that song! Great drinks too!!!

Had a fabulous time here!!. My crazy group of friends (you know who you are)-had a blast at this genuine country bar in the heart of Lower Broadway in Nashville. We went on a Sunday night around 8pm and the place started out pretty full and then emptied out some. But it didn't matter because the country music was terrific! We loved it. It was four guys and they played country standards beautifully. When the lead singer took a break, one of the guitar players played and sang his own rendition of Superstition. It blew us all away. Everyone around us seemed to be having a great time too.

Would Have Been Great Except for Rude Bartender. After reading the other reviews, I was shocked to find that others didn't have the same experience at the Second Fiddle as my group. One particular bartendar was so rude. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my entire life. We were refused service because a bag of chips in front of us fell off behind the bar. No one in my group or around us were being disruptive. When I tried to speak with the young woman behind the bar, she was rude and walked away from me while I was in mid-sentence. We weren't the only group of people who this young women treated this way. My group witnessed her being very impolite to others at the bar and I caught myself staring in shock. Luckily, there are several other great bars in this area to enjoy. My recommendation is to stay away from the Second Fiddle, unless you want bad service. We did complain to the manager (which is not like me to do that or write a review for that matter) and he was nice. Of course, who knows what he did from there...probably nothing! The music and atmosphere are good, but not good enough to be treated in this manner.

Great Music and Service!. We went there on Saturday afternoon and heard some wonderful music! There was a guy named Howard Frady and his band playing and they were unbelievable! Great country music and lots of fun! He sang a lot of Merle Haggard songs, but a good mixture of old and new! Made it a little too easy to throw back a few beers, but that wasn't a problem! They said that Howard usually plays there on Saturdays from 2 - 6. Nashville has new rules apparently about smoking. From what I understand, the afternoon is non-smoking which means that kids are allowed to come in. At 6, though, they kick out the kids and it becomes a smoking bar....??

The bartender, Ellie, was great too! She was very attentive! Can't always find a bartender in Nashville that is that nice!!

One of the best Honkey Tonks in Nashville. If you like crowds, go on Friday or Saturday nights. There is never a cover, Excellent Bands that play more than country!

Great Find!. The Second fiddle is an awesome place to hear live music. We went there a few times on our trip and heard great music everytime. The bartenders and very friendly and so are the people who you'll meet there.

Adam Wayde and Second Fiddle. This Nashville soon to be Country Super Star lets you know he's there for you and the Second Fiddle is home while you're in town. Everytime I visit Nashville the Second Fiddle is the Saturday Night hang out. Great music fun staff and the people you'll meet let's just say "You Never Know". Visit the Second Fiddle!

Looking for a great time?. My family, friends, and I have the most fun at Second Fiddle! Josh Brister and the Big Country Band, ROCK! They play every Saturday night, and really get the crowd goin'! We have the best time dancin, drinking, and singing along! If you love country music, you've got to check them out!! The girls really know how to make a great drink too!! =)

Second Great Find!. This was the second place my friend and I tumbled into to escape the rain when we weren't quite ready to head back to our hotel and we ended up staying for several hours! The band was excellent, the crowd was friendly and the bartender - Christy - made some VERY excellent drinks. Service was a little lax, but I believe she was the only one working at the time and after I went up to the bar after initial table service, she was always willing to bring the mixed drinks out so I didn't have to wait.

the best. The second fiddle was the highlight of my trip to nashville. This place is the best.The band,The people,The food,and the Beer were all great! I will be back real soon!
