Editorial Review for Tin Roof – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Similar to the Atlanta original, this nightspot hosts live bands six nights a week--everything from classic to contemporary rock to country. The bar's casual, carefree attitude is captured on the brightly colored plastic beer glasses with the slogan, "Stolen from the Tin Roof." Extra-long happy hour and tasty culinary concoctions have made this a popular after-work and weekend spot for 20-somethings and music aficionados, making the few back booths near the stage the ideal location.

Happy HourHappy hour runs 2pm-7pm weeknights, and includes $1 Miller Lite drafts, $3 well drinks, margaritas and domestic bottled beers.
What to DrinkThe signature drink, the Bloody George, is a lethal concoction--Captain Morgan, Malibu, pineapple juice and a dash of grenadine. Order it in your best English accent.
When to GoBands start around 9pm. Weekend cover is $3 after the music starts.

I've lived in Nashville for 3 years and this is my favorite bar. Everyone is nice and service is great. Thursday nights are a blast. The atmosphere is inviting, the music selection is great, drinks are priced well, I could go on and on... some people just cannot be pleased and you would have to be one of those people to not have a great time at the Tin Roof.
Pros: location, parking, music, service
Cons: ___

I went there for my 21st, being told how 'great' it was... well the parking across the street is supposed to be 'free' but there was a homeless guy over there collecting money. We gave him the $5, in fear we'd get out car broken into. Continued our way in the bar, and I was skeptical at first. They have great Washington Apple shots, but they were in paper cups! Really? Can we say low budget? The waitress took way too long on our orders, and if you ever wanted anything- you'd be better off going to the bar and getting it yourself. I had a bunch of people meet me there (around 12) and we ending up just leaving. The service was horrible. (Oh, not to mention it was a Tuesday, and STILL slow service.)
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Darker than usual bar, great on the eyes
