The Terminator and the Incredible Hulk (aka Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno) lifted weights at the gym's Venice, California, flagship years ago, but even today, customers frequenting charter locations are bound to encounter serious muscle. Take note: The boys with bulging biceps are the mascots, not the majority. Gold's generally offers Spinning, aerobics and kickboxing classes, yet weight-training remains the core of the program. Dumbbells and barbells, not spa-like amenities, are the attractions that draw the beef-heads in droves.

the hype the training staff give is not what they offer after you give them the bucks! They promise lots of things during the meeting to get you set up, but dont perform or perform poorly when its time for the first session. I felt I was paying to only be escorted to the machines rather than the trainer having input on how to use the machines, what exercises to do in a routine. The sessions are poorly planned! Dont join! Its a waste of money!

Cons: dishonest, trainers not prepared, no vision in workouts
