Fall in Moss-Wright.......
Walking around Mansker Creek you will find a very beautiful and colorful landscape in the fall. In the clear and running water of the tree-lined creek, the reflection of the bright autumn colors in the leaves make a wonderful visual experience.
Everything is free in the park except the Mansker's Fort, so you need to pay a fee to go inside the fort.
Wright is right-on. Moss-Wright has almost everything: a walking trail; baseball, football, and soccer fields; a one mile circular drive great for cycling and rollerblading; shelters for family gatherings; sand volleyball pits; and a nice playground for the kids. It's in a safe area and easy to get to. The only thing lacking is a pond. There is even a reproduction of Mansker's Fort. There's an original 18th century house. And there's the Masnker Players Theater. In addition, Moss-Wright has some great events, such as car shows, frontier days, and nice fireworks on July 4th. If you live in or are visiting the northern part of the city, Moss-Wright is a very relaxing place to be.
