spay and neuter your pets NOW.
I've been adopting cats and dogs from this place for years, have had zero problems, and recently came to volunteer. I'm horrified at how irresponsible people are by not spaying and neutering their animals and by casually dropping their pets off like garbage at this place's doorstep. If you volunteered and saw how dozens of new animals are dropped off every week and still managed to get adopted out over the weekend (thank God - because there is only so much room for all of them!), maybe you would step up and be more responsible for your pet. The place is non-profit and it never ceases to amaze me how clean and efficient the organization is run. I wish people would smarten up about their pets and stop dumping their problems on them.
Where to go if you need shots for your pet, or if you need a pet.. In Short The Nashville Humane Association is committed to promoting humane treatment of animals, finding good homes for stray or abandoned dogs and cats, educating the public about their responsibility to help control the pet population and providing treatment and care to ensure the well being of animals in our community. A full-time staff under supervision of an executive director and assistant operates the shelter.
