It was pretty good, but now is gone. It was pretty good, although the name was stupid. But it closed. The restaurant's Web site says "We're moving! Check back soon!" But it has said that since way last spring. Winter's almost here. Go to Prince's, because I predict hotchickens ain't coming back.

Pretty Good but not the Best.
Let me say at the outset that Hot Chicken is one of my favorite foods. I eat it at least once a week and I have tried pretty much everything Nashville has to offer. With this in mind, I would rate HotChickens.com as the second best place in the area to get Hot Chicken. If you want the very best, go to Prince's.
That said, HotChickens.com does have much better service. The atmosphere is much more inviting. And the wait is not nearly as long. They also have other menu selections, which are unavailable at Prince's. But the overall prices are slightly higher.
Bottom line, if you want a decent spicy bird, this place has it. But Hot Chicken connoisseurs, especially those who have tasted the bird at Prince's, may be mildly disappointed.

The best Hot Chicken in the world.
It's addicting. I go once a week (atleast).

Good for heat lovers. Hotchickens.com is a great little spicy fried chicken place. I have had the leg quarter and the chicken strips in varying levels of heat and they are always good. The x-tra hot will leave you sniffeling and with eyes watering! I have not been brave enought to try "Atomic" yet. The Hot Fries are also tasty and firey. This is a good place for eating in or for take-out. The only thing that annoys me is that they raised prices significantly not too long ago, so it doesn't seem like quite as much of a value as it once was. Otherwise, it's a great restaurant.

Very good. Friendly service and great food, Chicken is some of the best I've eaten, and the shrimp poboy and fish sandwich are great. Ranges from plain to hotter than you can stand.
