poor managment. they tack on an additional charges for a togo orders EVEN IF you dine in at the restruant and want to bring dinner home for a love one who couldn't make it out to the restraunt. they'd rather loose out on a $19 meal than remove an addtional charges on a togo meal. On top of unhappy customers , a lesser tip for the waiting staff, the manager wouldn't even let us order the food to the table and ask for a togo box. POOR MANAGERMENT... don't come to the egyptin looking man with your questions or concerns. he'll act to busy to care. [I'm a waiter/ manager as well and understand how restraunts can be] everything else was good. sad that menu changes so often though…
Delicious!!. I went to the new Virago last night with my boyfriend and his nephew. I have a severe peanut allergy so I was apprehensive, but our server Aerial had my back and was very patient as I got all neurotic. We ordered a pretty big feast after we finally narowed down what we wanted to try, and everything was delicious. I especially loved the coconut-jasmine rice, a must-try for the coconut lover, as it is cooked in coconut milk instead of water. Try it with some soy sauce...yummmm!! Also had the shrimp eggrolls and shared my boyfriend's lamb lo-mein and sake steamed brussels sprouts. Everything was flawless and tasty. We left full but didn't have that bloated feeling which comes from eating lots of unhealthy food. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much Aerial for taking care of us so well.…
Denied Service Because of Tank Top. On the 4th of July, my friend and I decided to go here for a drink. So my friend in front of me was approaching the door. I was behind her and got stopped by the bouncer who informed me that I couldn't come in because I had on a tank top. I was like "what?" He said, yea...no tank tops allowed. My female friend had on a halter top and it was okay for her, but not for me. Really? So, they would turn away business because of a tank top? I was going to let it go, but I couldn't. I had to speak to the manager. Once they found him, he came out and spoke with me in a very rude, arrogant, unapologetic manner. He even suggested that I go across the street to the Whiskey Kitchen. He also compared what he had on to what i had on. He said,"Do you see what I'm wearing? I have on a dress coat and a dress shirt?" I said, "I would expect you to have that on. You work here. I don't." Mind you, this is on the 4th of July after the fireworks. Most people would probably have on something like a tank top and shorts being that it was like 85 degrees outside. On a given night knowing that I was going to Virago I may have had another shirt on, but this was a spare of the moment decision because we were in the area. The manager could've said, "Sir, I apologize for you not being aware of our dress code. I will make an exception this time, but just know in the future that we don't allow tank tops." However, he would rather deny me service and send my business to another establishment. I even asked him if a celebrity came with a tank top on would he turn them away. He said no celebrity would get in with a tank top on. I'm not buying that. And to top it all off, its not even posted anywhere. So I guess you just have to know. The manager said we advertise for a lot of things, but we're not going to advertise no tank tops. Wow.... However, shorts are acceptable, but they can't be cut-off shorts. So, you're telling me the focus of your establishment is centered around what people are wearing? The value of a person isn't based on what a they have on, but rather the person wearing it. The value of a dollar is the same for a person wearing a tank top or a person wearing a blazer. Virago serves $10-$12 cocktails. Most establishments are in that range. So, how upscale do they really think they are? I called Sambuca to see if they had a dress code. The said it was business casual. So I asked if it would be okay if I had on a tank top. The lady told me a regular tank top should be okay, however not a "wifebeater". Sambuca is another nice, upscale establishment. Virago needs to get a grip and learn about customer service and how to handle situations when it comes to differences of opinions with their patrons. It should start with a serious attitude adjustment for the manager and then follow by them posting their dress code simply stating: Business Casual Attire Enforced. I was denied service because I had on a tank top. Cheers and Happy Independence Day!!!!…

poor service, worse food. My wife and I just went to the Virgo for her work's Christmas Party. The waiter was good, but the overall service from the kitchen was extremely slow and the restaurant was not very busy for an early Saturday evening. Minus the sushi, everyone was disappointed with the food, especially the quantity and quality. When paying higher prices you would expect a higher quality, not so here. The decor was nice, but will not return due to poor food and slow service from the kitchen.…
