Don't Waste You Time at the Palm!. Don't waste your time going to the Palm. The staff is unfriendly, the decor dated, and quite frankly, the food isn't all that great. If you want a great steak or high-end meal, you're better off going to Ruth's Chris or better yet, Flemings.
The Palm. I've gone to this restuarant many times and even thou the the waiting staff at times can be helpful for the most part they are only interestred in regulary clients. They really look down their noses at anyone other. than regulars. We Always order the top steaks but they always come out burnt and no flavor. I suggest going somewhere else if you are not known here for money or fame cause you will get second hand service if you are not rich or famous3! Yuck! Yuck!!
wonderful service and great food. Love this place, love the coupons I get in the mail with my Palm membership, we eat there all the time and we have never been disappointed.
Great Food, Good service. I must say that I truly enjoyed The Palm, the food was spectacular. It is worth a try for anyone, but I do plan on returning in the near future, the food was SO good and fresh, the salads were honestly the best I have ever eaten
Average. I have always like the Palm in the past, but my last visit was disapointing. I haope next time is better because I can't afford a bad meal!
Love Love Love The Palm! Barstaff ROCKS.
I LOVE the Nashville Palm!
Love everyone at the bar!!! Thomas & Wayne are so much fun!
Food is amazing! Drinks are always perfection!!!
Love Love Love!
Upscale steakhouse rewards high-profile patrons by immortalizing their likenesses in colorful caricatures..
In Short
With its Italian-tinged menu and playful artwork on the walls, this national chain (which got its start in 1926) maintains a congenial atmosphere even as corporate patrons use company credit cards to pay for 36-ounce New York strips or jumbo lobsters. Sitting in dark wood chairs placed at tables topped in white linen, suit-jacketed gents and ladies sup on prime steaks, chops and hearty portions of classic Old World dishes like spaghettini marinara and veal piccata.
Palmfection. It is the Palm. The floors are wooden, the celing is metal, the staff is in coats, the food is pricey and the atmosphere does get loud. So if you want something else (like a private candlelit dinner) go somewhere else. If you have kids get a sitter. If you want to dine in an electric atmosphere where it feels like a party is going on and you have the wallet or company card to handle the toll by all means go.
Not as good as Ruth Chris. Been there done that, I have eaten at the Palms about 50 times and it "aint what it use to be" the service was okay, the steak was just not all that. The drinks are extremely over priced, and not always full when you get them?
Recommend???.........I don't think so!!. My wife and I went there for lunch. Service was excellent but the food was terrible. I had the fish of the day which was Mahi Mahi. The prep and appearence was good but it had no taste. Just about the worst I have ever eaten anywhere. My wife's steak was sent back once because it was too rare and after two attempts, the server removed the charges from the total bill. Over all, if you want good food, go somewhere else. But on the other hand, if you are a visitor to Nashville or not a true native, and want to go to an "upscale" restaurant to "try" to see some high profile people.......go for it. They would love to take your money.
