Lunch specials can be a bargain. I have been going to Demos for almost 20 years. Mr & Mrs Demos used to walk around the restaurant but don't see them much any more but they do have several restaurants now! Surprised at Traveler119 review. In the past they would go out of their way to make things right. IDK!

The best service! The iced tea comes to the table with liquid suger to sweeten to your taste and was great. Complimentary cheese bread is delivered to your table as you briefly wait for your meal. I had lasagne and was there during a very busy lunch period. They got me served within minutes of my order. I recommend you try them!

great food for as long as i dare to remember. Absolutely the best in the area for the money!!!

1) SIRLOIN STEAK ....medium rare!!

2) CHICKEN AND RICE SOUP!!

3)SPAGETTI AS YOUR SIDE... Greek is my favorite sauce!!

If you are coming east on I-24 call me, i need you to bring me some chicken and rice soup!

Bad Spaghetti Sauce. I went to this restaurant about a year ago, haven't been back since, and don't plan to ever do so. The first and only time I went I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. The sauce smelled terrible and tasted worse. My mom, who go lassagna that night, also said something was wrong with hers. We could only get a slight refund of what we had paid. We tried to eat what we could so we would not have to buy dinner a second time. I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for something that has tomato sauce in it. I'm not sure about any other food there.

Great place for some good food and service. I will be back many times more... I have been several times to both Nashville and Hendersonville and each time I go the food and service are great. The first time I got spaghetti I did not like the sauce, but that is just individual taste. Me not liking it does not make it bad.

I love their steaks, the Chili Spaghetti, the bread and about everything else.

If you are looking for good food, good service, and fair prices you can not go wrong with Demos'.

Not what I expected. My family and I went to Demos a little while ago because our neighbor used to be a server there and he told us it was really good. What he didn't tell us was that it has exceptionally good prices. We all ordered different things and we all enjoyed them. I had roast and it was very tender. We all had plenty to eat and have all agreed that it a very repeat worthy experience.

not that impressive. I was looking forward to eating here since we had heard good things about it. However, we were not very impressed. The food was not that impressive, and the portion size was not impressive either. We have no desire to return there.

ALWAYS WONDERFUL!. Demos is a favorite for all our family including all four of my kids. The youngest ask to go just for the soup! For years we only got the New York Strip because it can't be beat. We tried some of the kid's chicken strips once and now the worst thing about eating there is choosing what to order. The prices are good. For what we would have to pay for the family to eat at a fast food stop we can enjoy truly a nice family meal.

Be prepared to wait. My husband and I experienced Demos for the first time last night, we were entertaining friends from Atlanta and wanted to take them to a nice place to eat. We are fairly new to the Murfreesboro area and are ignorent about it's restaurants and or night life. A neighboro had suggested Demos and stated that he and his wife ate there all the time and that we would not be disapointed. We arrived around 7pm and had to wait almost an hour before being seated (something that I hate to do) once we seated we were greated by a gentleman by the name of Bob who was to be our waiter for the evening. When Bob approached our table my husband and I were involved in a conversation in our native tounge of Italian, the waiter stood there waiting to take our order when all of a sudden (and much to our delight) he explained the menu in Italian, we were stuned to find someone who spoke Italian right here in Murfreesboro. Not only was the service GREAT but the food was good as well. Bob explained to us that all the steaks were hand t cut that morning for freshness, and that the chicken soup was prepared fresh everyday by Mrs D the owner. Our waiter suggested the pork chops and he was right, they were without a doubt the best I've ever tasted, and if you decide to visit Demos ask for Bob he'll make the wait worth it.....Thank You Demos we'll be back.

Amazing taste, unbelievable prices. If you're in Murfreesboro, you'll no doubt see many billboards for Demos' with mention of being voted Murfreesboro's best restaurant 11+ years in a row. When you dine hear you'll immediately know the reason why. When you eat the Bacon Wrapped Filet of Beef, you'll swear you're eating filet mignon (all this for under $13 for the entree which includes a very delicious chicken rice soup, tasty biscuits, AND a side of spaghetti). The only thing we add is the peel and eat shrimp for an appetizer (also in the $5 range). Highly recommend the sweet tea here (they have liquid sugar in a container that you pour into the tea for your own level of taste). This place is always packed by the locals.
