Thanksgiving 2010 disaster food.
My husband and I took 2 friends for Thanksgiving at the cascade restaurant in
Nashville. it was $45 a person so we really thought this would be a fine fine meal!! It was worse than canned food with no taste and how humiliating plus we had to pay the bill for the saddest food we have ever had!!! We had been there when they had a buffet and it was fine then . It has gone so far down hill We will never never go back. Please don't waste your money there anytime. Sweet potatoes had cold slices of cheese in it and green beans were straight out of a can and not even warm with a thin coat of watered down milk in it. It was so bad!!! Hope I am saving someone the time and money to go to this awful place. Atmosphere was so sad too and tables were not full and I understand why!!
Diners feast on seafood--from fresh catch to sushi--in a lush garden setting at this Opryland Hotel restaurant..
A winding pathway through Opryland Hotel's indoor gardens leads to The Cascades Seafood Restaurant, where diners choose from chilled shellfish, broiled scampi, pastas and grilled fish dishes. Although the restaurant sees heavy traffic with khaki and Polo-clad conventioneers, it also lures tourists in search of a romantic meal nestled amid tropical foliage and waterfalls. Low gas lamp lighting and foliage-draped arbors beneath the soaring glass-enclosed atrium add to the garden ambiance.
Luxurious!. A wonderful ambience and setting for a restaurant! The food is superb and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend! Very romantic as well as family oriented.
Wonderful. The setting is like no other, waterfalls and greenery everywhere. You can see the chef preparing the sushi from your table. The lobster bisque is great. This isn't just a sushi restaurant, so don't be afraid to go in. There's great seafood and if your up for it order some sushi on the side !
