The park is absolutely incredible. The review given before about the "snobs" in the park is very unfortunate, because I go to the park all the time and I have never received that poor welcome.
Im a runner, and everyone I pass on the roads/trails waves or says good morning or something, just like everyone does in Nashville. Everyone is always very friendly and I have even met some new friends after meeting them while running on the trails.
In my opinion, this park is one of Nashville's defining features- I have never found a park of this caliber anywhere Ive visited.…
Great Park for all!. My husband and I take our Border Collie there almost every day. It's a great park to exercise. You can walk the paved trail or get more adventurous and take the rugged trails up the mountain. There are many obstacles and rocks to manuever but that's what makes it fun. We are always finding new routes and things to see. It's huge so bring water and wear comfortable shoes. There are a lot of people walking dogs, jogging, biking. Lots of shaded area and benches along the way.…
