Unique shopping!.
I was very excited to find this store, the clothing is unique and the staff
was very friendly. And, you never know who you might be shopping
next to. A must if you love fashion, music and shoes.
HORRIBLE Customer Service. I have shopped at this store a few times and have never received good customer service. They recently, however, have had a huge glitch in their telechek system and they deposited 6 month's worth of customer's checks all at once. Many customers had large overdraft fees, many were large checks that were over 6 months old. There was no apology, no phone calls made to the customers to advise them of the situation, no effort to make anything right. A call to the owner of the store made it very clear that she felt much worse for herself than for her customers. In addition, many customers who complained received quips from the owner and staff stating "didn't you notice that the check didn't go through?" To which many replied "Didn't you notice that 6 MONTHS of checks weren't in your bank account?" The fact that the staff and owner of this store made no attempt to warn their customers of the situation and/or at least try to make amends by giving those inconvenienced a small discount or gift card is absolutely untenable. Stay away -- Nashville has much better places to shop with the same style clothes-- and those people HAVE to be better business people than Posh's owner and staff!
A Hillsboro Village boutique that's a jewel box of hip and hard-to-find fashions..
In Short
Club beats pulsate through the speakers as Gen-Y hipsters and style-conscious Vandy kids squeeze through a labyrinth of racks full of up-market styles. Beneath the men's and women's brands, such as Miss Sixty, Sacred Blue and G-Star is the shoe-lined floor that features a smattering of trendy footwear. The selection of fresh purses and reasonably priced jewelry by Emily Ray and Erica Lyons is in front, as are Burt's Bees products and cosmetics by LipSense.
User review by cheergo15. The location is wonderful and the clothings is awesome but it is way overpriced! I can find the same stuff at a dept. store for way less. What I don't understand is why the carry brands like to the max? That's not even high end fashion it's the knock off of bcbg. The service is awesome, they have a fun staff with unique personalities. since Posh has added it is getting better.
Fun Shoping Experience. I reciently stopped in to try to find a couple pair of jeans. When I got to the jean rack I was very overwhelmed by all the options. A salesman approached me, and asked if I needed help. When I said yes, he asked me questions trying to figure out what exactly I was looking for. He gave me about 10 different pairs to try them on. By the time I was done, I was at the register with what may be my favorite pair of jeans. The salesman was kind, fun, and very helpful.I would recomend shopping here to any girl who needs help finding a perfect pair of jeans.
Look Elsewhere. I've never had a very good experience at this place. Yes, the salespeople are laughably rude (it reminds me of that line from Absolutely Fabulous: "You just work in a shop, you know.") However, the real problem is that their clothes are ill-fitting and seem kind of shoddily made to me. The final straw was when I bought a necklace here and it broke before I ever wore it. Then, getting them to give me store credit for it almost took a federal order. I agree with previous posters - there are so many better places in Nashville to find clothes like these - and have better service as well.
Can you say Nashville's Nordstrpm!?!?!?!. I thought this place was Great!!! Yes, the prices were high, but they are the same prices you would find in New York, Atlanta, or London. The have great name brand clothes and variety. The lay out of the store was nice and it wasn't that big. I loved it!!
avoid this place at all cost!. all the clothes are pricey, and the sizes are either too small or too large. people who work there are not friendly and give a really stuck-up attitude...just because they work in a "posh" boutique doesn't make them any better than us. i'm sure i make a whole lot more money than them...i don't need their stuck-up attitude!!!
Great clothes, bad sizes!. I love Posh's clothes, but I have a complaint about their sizes in pants...they start at a size 26! I don't understand why they don't start at a 24 or 25, especially in Buffalo, Deisel, and Seven jeans. Come on...some of us skinny people would like to get in on the designer jeans as well!
Nashville Has More to Offer!. The selection is good and Posh carries lots of funky styles, but the customer service is very disappointing. Customer service will make or break any clothing store and it doesnt matter what selection you carry, customers will avoid a store that is more hassle that it worth. A couple of the women that work in the store have been helpful to me in the past, but some of the stores policies are just plain rude. This has caused me to avoid the store and look elsewhere. I have found the exact same clothes at much cheaper prices at Off Fifth at Opry Mills or 100 Oaks, Boutique Bella, Anastasias Attic (in Murfreesboro), and you must check out the designer section of Dillards at Green Hills! Exact same clothes, cheaper prices, and wonderful customer service! Nashville has more to offer in clothing stores than just PoshLook around it is out there!
