Editorial Review for LP Field – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
The 67,000-seat natural-grass palace was designed by stadium-architecture behemoth HOK Sports Facilities Group, which also planned venues in Baltimore, San Francisco, Miami and Houston, as well as Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Center. LP Field sits on 105 acres with 144 luxury suites and 60 concession stands. When not offering Titans football, it hosts Tennessee State University football and entertainment events like the CMA Music Festival.

this is the place to be.the titans have a huge following not only in nashville but everywhere.loudest stadium in the nfl .no bad seats and believe me ive sat at the top.when the eddie chant starts you get goose bumps.voted best fans in the nfl before and the titans only trail the dallas cowboys in merchandise sold the last few years.eddie george has the best selling jersey in the nfl too.parking can be bad but its fun walking over the bridge to the massive home of the titans.always sells out.no place id rather be .GO TITANS!!!!!!!! the theme for 2002 will be 'Remember the TITANS'CAUSE THEY'RE GOING BACK TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!

Pros: great view, great football team, beautiful building

Cons: parking can b bad, titan loss is bad, bad traffic

Home to the Titans and TSU Tigers, Adelphia has been embraced by the fans (guess two 13-3 seasons can do that) to be the place on a Sunday. Seats are excellent (although the upper tier is way up) and the crowd can generate some noise (just about every game is a sellout). Thankfully, the Titans/city didn't place the stadium in the burbs, but rather just a short walk across the bridge from downtown. Best way to get to the stadium is to park downtown, but expect to pay "event" prices since there is little free parking to be found downtown. Or you could take one of the many shuttles that ride ( in for sattelite locations, but expect long shuttle lines after the game.

Pros: location, close seating, noise

Cons: long shuttle lines, $6 beers
